Published Apr 28, 2017Foster the People returned with three new tunes yesterday (April 17), dressed up as an EP titled III. But the band's art for the release looks little too similar to a full-length from Every Time I Die, according to the Buffalo hardcore vets.
As you can see below, Every Time I Die picked up on the similarities between the art for III and their 2016 LP Low Teens, both making use of eerie pink lettering with a small subtitle beneath it. While plenty of people have called out the "Pumped Up Kicks" group on their Facebook page, the band themselves have yet to comment.
A similar situation happened between Metallica and Crowbar last year, in which the thrash vets' Hardwired...To Self-Destruct bore resemblance to the latter's 1998 release Odd Fellows Rest.
