Black Sabbath Are Using Their Logo to Make Some Amazing Black Lives Matter Shirts
Published Jun 16, 2020While we await the forthcoming Ozzy Osbourne biopic, the Black Sabbath brand has engaged with more pressing matters. Specifically, they've designed the world's sickest new T-shirt, swapping out their logo so that it reads BLACK LIVES MATTER.
The shirt, pictured above, is currently available for pre-order and will ship around July 14. As the band's page clearly states, "100% OF THE NET PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT BLACK LIVES MATTER GLOBAL NETWORK FOUNDATION, INC."
A previous, unofficial iteration of the shirt was previously worn in photos by Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello:
My 96 yr old mom has been a tireless advocate for Black Lives and a ruthless critic of racism her whole life. Proud, as always, to stand with her today. pic.twitter.com/xPZ9Yutryy— Tom Morello (@tmorello) June 8, 2020
Black Sabbath's self-titled debut album turned 50 earlier this year.
