The Watchmen Announce 'Silent Radar' 25th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition
Winnipeg-formed '90s rock vets the Watchmen have announced plans to reissue their 1998 album Silent Radar for its 25th anniversary as a super deluxe digital edition on April 14 via Universal Music Canada.

The expanded album contains 46 "specially curated" tracks recorded during the band's peak era, including live performances, acoustic tracks and demos, as well as the "raw and unmixed" version of Silent Radar, and a collection of tracks that they've dubbed The Lost Album.

"We ended up recording the album with producer, Adam Kasper, at the height of the grunge scene in Seattle," drummer Sammy Kohn remembered in a release. "It was a very exciting time for the band and I'm very grateful that we had the opportunity to record this material so professionally."

He continued: "I believe these tracks represent the real treasure here. It's an entirely different listening experience with these familiar songs and some absolute magic was captured in these tracks that fans of the band are going to love. They have never been heard as they have lived in our vaults for over 25 years."

Right now, you can hear four new versions of album cut "Stereo" below, where you can also see the album's full 46-song tracklist courtesy of Apple Music.
